Lisa Reihana’s exhibition of her major video work, in Pursuit of Venus (infected),drew record crowds to Auckland Art Gallery last year. Since then, Lisa has been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2017 Venice Biennale, arguably the most important international showcase for contemporary art.While working towards her exhibition at Venice, Lisa is also currently undertaking a major public commission for the redevelopment of Freyberg Square in the centre of Auckland, and will have a solo exhibition at the Auckland Art Fair with her Melbourne gallery, Fehily Contemporary, from 25-29 May. Come and hear Lisa talk about these projects and more, in conversation with Stephanie Post, co-director of Auckland Art Fair.
